Dr. Tierra Hereford, Co-Founder
Dr. Tierra Hereford, DSW, LCSW, LICSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia, Washington D.C. and Tennessee. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Tierra moved to Northern Virginia in 2016. Tierra graduated from Simmons University where she received a Doctorates Degree in Social Work with a focus on addressing racial disparities in supervision and clinical social work. She has over 10 years’ experience working with children (as young as 6 years old), adolescents, and adults in diverse settings.
Tierra’s interests and expertise include Trauma, Anxiety, and Depression; though she treats other disorders. Tierra incorporates diversity, race, and gender inequalities throughout the therapeutic process. Tierra prides herself on creating a safe place for all patients to be themselves in therapy. Some treatment interventions she likes to utilize such as Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. She has a background working with the military, psychiatric hospital settings, outpatient substance abuse facilities, and foster care/adoption. Tierra offers therapy virtually for individuals, couples, and families.

Kilexyus Moore

I am a Supervisee in Social Work under Tierra Hereford. I provide a judgement free space where you can be honest about the struggles that have led you to therapy. I help support clients in reaching their goals, increasing their understanding of themselves and others, and healing by providing a supportive, safe, and warm therapeutic environment. My primary experiences have been with individuals struggling with trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and life transitions. I also have a special interest in providing affirming and responsive services to a variety ethnic and racial backgrounds, LGBTQ+ community, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
I provide therapy virtually for individuals and couples. Depending on your needs I use a combination of insight therapy, behavioral therapy, and mindfulness to help navigate these difficulties and decrease feelings of shame, guilt, and loneliness.

I am a Pre-Licensed Supervisee in Social Work, practicing under Tierra Hereford, LCSW. I believe in creating a calm and inviting space to help navigate you through your process of healing. My goal is to build rapport through compassion, empathy, and care throughout this therapeutic process. Therapy is a collaborative effort, so with the tools I provide, we can facilitate a space that not only encourages growth but also motivates you for long-term change.

I use a variety of approaches tailored to meet your needs that include CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and EFT (Emotional Focused Therapy) for individuals, couples, and families. I also have experience working with the LGBTQ+ community.

I am a Supervisee in Social Work under Tierra Hereford, offering telehealth services in Virginia. With a background in working with clients facing Anxiety, PTSD, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, and more, I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, Empowerment, and mindfulness to support growth and healing. I am deeply committed to expanding my knowledge and skills to provide effective care for individuals dealing with trauma, life events, relationship concerns, stressors, and issues related to racial/gender inequality and sexuality. I work with adults 18 and up, offering both individual and couples therapy.
